Encounters take myriad forms. In the sharing of a fragment of myself—my values, my perspectives, the truths we both hold dear—I find connections that transcend the mundane. It’s a meeting not just of minds, but of souls, touching a chord deep within, almost palpable, like a caress upon the heartstrings. These are not mere passersby in the journey of life. They are strangers who, in the briefest of moments, become intimately known. Each encounter, a brush of a stranger’s essence, swiftly familiar, transforming the unknown into the unforgettable.” Foreign Touch - by Aulon

We hoped to visualise the brief foreign touch meant by the composer , in the troke of a paint brush.
Lee Ufan’s brushwork is defined by what he withholds as much as what he paints. Similar to a painter , for a music man silence defines his sound as much as the notes he plays. Each stroke is a single, deliberate gesture — a quiet meeting between breath, body, and material. The brush touches the canvas lightly, fading as the pigment runs out, revealing time, rhythm, and intention.

Not sure of the outcome AI would produce but certain of the quality of the reference , we started experimenting on art direction with the machine.

With small iteration on the AI artwork we managed to extract two lightly brushed bodies of oil on canvas referencing Lee Ufan.
